Shipping decision tools

Check qualification, postal coverage, chargeable weight and surcharge exposure before a shipment reaches quoting, routing or booking.

What qualification means

A tool result is evidence, not the final route.

ShipQualify keeps postal, cargo, physical and dated cost-impact signals separate, then uses the Routing Checker to turn supported facts into a service-level decision.

  1. 01
    Before a freight quote

Confirm the destination and shipment facts before price becomes a commitment.

  2. 02
    Before service assignment

See which services remain viable and which condition needs verification.

  3. 03
    Before warehouse receiving

Flag postal, cargo or physical exceptions before inbound handoff.

  4. 04
    Before final pricing

Review chargeable weight and surcharge exposure without treating a reference threshold as a guaranteed fee.

FAQ

Shipping decision tool questions

Does ShipQualify provide live carrier rates?

No. ShipQualify is a pre-quote decision layer. Dated public rate references can appear where supported, but they are not live carrier quotes or guaranteed invoices.

What is shipment qualification?

Shipment qualification checks whether destination, cargo and physical facts fit the published evidence for candidate services, then returns a decision, reasons and next action.

Is a Qualified result a carrier acceptance guarantee?

No. Qualified means no blocking or review condition was found in the published scope used by the decision. Final carrier acceptance, charges and customs requirements still need confirmation.

Why check dimensional weight before routing?

Dimensional weight can change chargeable weight and can expose physical handling conditions. Routing still needs the destination and cargo context.

When should I check surcharge exposure?

Check it before final pricing when package weight, dimensions, girth, packaging or a dated demand period could change cost assumptions.

How does postal coverage affect routing?

Postal evidence is service-specific. The same ZIP or postcode can be available, remote, unavailable or unconfirmed across different services.
