Qualification layers

Coverage is more than a postcode.

The same destination can produce a different result when cargo, battery status, piece weight or dimensions change.

01

Postal

ZIP/postcode format, published exception matches, remote conditions and unavailable areas.

02

Cargo

General cargo, apparel, cosmetics and battery capability where the service has documented evidence.

03

Physical

Actual weight, volumetric weight, carton sides, girth and service-specific limits when available.

04

Decision

Qualified, Conditional, Manual Review or Restricted, with the reason and next action shown per service.

Operational meaning

Coverage tells you what the evidence supports — not what a carrier guarantees.

Coverage can confirm

Published market scope, service-specific postal evidence, documented cargo capability and physical limits where those facts are available.

Coverage does not guarantee

Final carrier acceptance, live pricing, customs clearance, delivery performance or conditions that are absent from the reviewed source scope.

Area-rule taxonomy

Published area rules describe different sides of the route.

The global source material contains destination and pickup concepts. ShipQualify normalizes the concepts but does not republish the raw carrier database.

Delivery area

A destination-area condition associated with selected postal codes.

Delivery area · extended

A higher-tier destination-area condition for selected postal codes.

Remote area

A destination or pickup location treated as remote under a published rule set.

Pickup area

An origin-side area condition; it is different from a destination surcharge.

Remote pickup

A remote-area condition attached to the pickup side of a shipment.

Check the shipment, not just the market.

Coverage tells you what the product knows. The Routing Checker applies it to the actual shipment.
